What kind of photographer are you? I am a family, couple and senior photographer. I also love to capture our surroundings, nature and wildlife whenever I can. and I want to capture you and/or your family as naturally and artfully as possible. I will of course capture those “everyone look at the camera and smile” photographs, but I really want to tell a story of your family in that moment in time. I hope to produce pieces of art that will chronical genuine and treasured expressions and times your family spends together. I also love to capture the amazing landscapes, nature and wildlife that I am lucky to see day to day and in my travels.
What types of sessions do you offer? I offer family sessions and senior sessions any day and any time of year. I also offer mini sessions, which are typically a “special” that I offer twice a year, generally in the Fall and Spring. Mini sessions are a shorter time duration with fewer images offered - these are great for greeting cards or prints to give as gifts to relatives!
Where will my session be held? Your session can be at any location that is special to you. Together we will come up with the perfect location(s)! Mini sessions are usually done at my home, or somewhere close, due to the short time duration and fewer number of images taken.
How long will my session be? Family, couple and senior sessions will all last anywhere from 1-2+ hours - as long as it takes to get to the places we want to shoot at and get all the great shots we can!
What will my session be like? As relaxed and natural as possible. I want you to forget I’m even there (except for some directives I may give you) and just “be”. I want to capture genuine moments of you, your kids and/or family.
What should I/we wear? You want to look nice and like “you”. Comfy and casual. Coordinating colors but not matchy-matchy. If you need help, you can ask me or just take a look at some Pinterest boards and you’ll see some great ideas! I would recommend not wearing hats or sunglasses!
How far out are you booked? Ideally, a week or two would be recommended, but I usually can accommodate whenever it is a good time for you and we can work something out! I really prefer to shoot sessions in the early morning or in the evening when the light is softer and the skies are more likely to be amazing with beautiful golden light and color! -- But as long as it’s not pouring rain, we’ll be good!
Will I get the digital photos from my session? Within 3-4 weeks (usually much sooner than that), you will get an email link to view your photos in an online gallery. They will be watermarked and available for you to look at. Generally, there are 30-40 digital files in both color and black and white. If you decide to purchase the entire collection of digitals, you will pay one flat fee of $150 and you will then receive high-resolution files via direct download and a print release. If you choose not to purchase your digital collection, you will have a lot of different options for printing available!
How can I order prints and products from you? If you purchase your complete collection of digital files, you can still get prints through me from the professional lab I use. (I highly recommend this - you will be so happy with the quality and look of your prints!) If you choose not to purchase your digitals, and decide to just get a few of the images printed in the size of your preference, you can note that on the online gallery and I will make sure they are properly cropped and order those from the lab I use. I can deliver them to you personally, or we can make other arrangements for you to receive your prints.
How much does all of this cost? My pricing is pretty straight forward. Family and couple sessions are $350, and Senior sessions are $250. That includes all the of the digital files. A $100 nonrefundable deposit due at the time of booking your session. Deposits and payments can be made with a credit card via PayPal.
How do I book a session with you? I am so excited to hear from you!!! You can email me directly at for more information or to book a session!
